Online Bookings and 3rd Party Website Bookings:
Kindly note that bookings made through third-party booking agents and affiliate websites may be subject to different terms and conditions, including cancellation policies. It's essential to thoroughly review all terms and conditions before finalising your booking to ensure a smooth experience.
Payment:
To confirm their reservation, guests are required to make full payment online using their credit or debit card details prior to arrival. Please note that payment upon arrival at the property is not accepted. Additionally, we kindly ask that guests refrain from using cash or cheques as methods of payment. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
Extension of Stay:
Should you wish to prolong your stay, kindly liaise with a member of our management team to facilitate this request. Extensions are subject to availability and may incur additional charges, ensuring a seamless continuation of your experience with us.
Booking Amendments:
Should you require any modifications to your booking, we kindly ask that you reach out to a member of our management team for assistance. While we strive to accommodate such requests, changes are subject to availability and may incur additional charges. Please note that we cannot guarantee the acceptance of all booking amendments and accept no liability for any associated loss, damage, or expenses. Your understanding and cooperation are greatly appreciated.
Cancellations:
Guests wishing to cancel their booking must do so online or via email, adhering to the cancellation policy outlined in their booking confirmation email. Please note that cancellations are only considered valid upon receipt of a confirmation email.
If a cancellation request is accepted by The Briarcroft, refunds will be processed in accordance with the policy stated in the booking confirmation. Kindly allow 3-10 working days for the refund to reflect in your account, depending on your banking provider.
Please be aware that "non-refundable" rates do not permit cancellations. Failure to arrive or cancel within the specified policy timeframe will result in the booking being treated as a "no-show," with the full amount retained by The Briarcroft. We appreciate your understanding of our cancellation policy, which is designed to fairly estimate any incurred losses.
While we strive to provide exceptional service, in rare circumstances, we may need to cancel a guest's booking. In such cases, any payments made will be fully refunded, representing a final settlement of any liability on our part.
Please note that we cannot be held liable for any delays, losses, damages, or expenses arising from circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to war, civil strife, natural disasters, or adverse weather conditions. We strongly recommend guests obtain appropriate travel insurance to mitigate any unforeseen events.
Group Booking Policy:
For reservations of five or more luxury rooms, we consider it a "Group Booking" and apply tailored terms and conditions. To ensure a smooth check-in process, we kindly request the names of all lead guests in each room before the arrival date, which can be conveniently communicated via email or our booking platform. Please note that reservations cannot be cancelled or amended within 7 days of the arrival date without prior agreement from a member of our management team, and any changes within this timeframe may incur a 100% charge for the rooms. It's important to highlight that the lead booker, who initiated the reservation, assumes full responsibility for any issues, communications, or damages caused to the property by any of the guests within the group, thereby accepting liability.
Check-in Procedure:
Prior to your arrival, we'll send you an email containing your entry pin code, room number, and any pertinent details for your stay. Simply input the pin code at each door you encounter to access your designated areas.
Reception Availability:
Please note that we do not have reception staff available on-site 24 hours a day. Should you encounter any issues with entry to the building, please don't hesitate to contact our management team using the provided details at hello@briarcroft-hotel.com.
Check-in Time:
Generally, our luxury rooms are ready for occupancy from 3 pm on the day of your arrival. If you require an early check-in, kindly reach out to a member of our management team. We'll do our best to accommodate your request, subject to availability and any applicable charges.
Check-out Policy:
We kindly request that guests vacate their rooms by 10 am on the day of departure. Should you require a late check-out, please don't hesitate to reach out to a member of our management team, who will be happy to assist you based on availability and any associated charges.
Room Capacity:
Each room is designed to accommodate a specific maximum number of guests, as indicated in your reservation details. For the comfort and safety of all guests, any additional visitors must kindly depart the premises between the hours of 9pm and 9am. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in ensuring a pleasant experience for everyone.
Room Amenities:
Our luxury rooms are meticulously furnished, boasting a kitchenette complete with modern appliances, cutlery, crockery, and utensils for your convenience.
Moreover, each room is equipped with premium bedding, towels, toiletries, ironing facilities, a hairdryer, Smart TV, and complimentary high-speed Internet, all included within the room rate.
To maintain the quality of our accommodations, we kindly request that guests refrain from removing any items from the room.
As part of our commitment to your comfort, the room rate covers a cleaning service, which typically includes a daily basic tidy, a mid-stay clean with linen change on the 4th and 7th day, culminating in a thorough cleaning upon departure.
Liability for Damage or Loss of Guest’s Property:
While we strive to ensure the safety and security of our guests' belongings, we cannot be held liable for any injury, loss, or damage to personal property unless negligence on our part is proven by an independent body or court of law. Please note that we do not provide insurance for personal effects, and we encourage guests to make their own arrangements for travel insurance to safeguard against any potential losses or damages. Your peace of mind is important to us, and we want to ensure you have a worry-free stay.
Responsibility for Damage or Loss of Briarcroft Property:
When staying with us at The Briarcroft, we trust our guests to take good care of our property. Please ensure the room and its belongings are kept clean and tidy during your stay to avoid any additional charges upon departure.
For everyone's safety, please remember to lock the room and close all doors properly when you're not around. If any damage occurs due to negligence or irresponsible behaviour, it's important to let our team know as soon as possible.
We appreciate your cooperation in looking after our property, as it helps us maintain a pleasant environment for all our guests.
Respect for Others:
We kindly ask that you show consideration for fellow guests and our neighbours during your stay. Please keep noise levels to a minimum to ensure everyone's comfort. Any antisocial behaviour towards guests or staff will not be tolerated at The Briarcroft.
Property Use:
We kindly ask guests not to conduct any business activities on the property without prior consent from us.
At Briarcroft, our property is intended for personal use only, within legal and appropriate parameters.
Both guests and Briarcroft acknowledge that usage of the property does not establish any tenancy rights, and subletting is not permitted.
We reserve the right to deny entry or accommodation if we deem a guest or their companions to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs, or if their behaviour is disruptive or unacceptable.
To maintain a peaceful environment, we strictly enforce a "No Party" policy, with additional charges applicable if this rule is breached.
Guests are expected to adhere to all reasonable rules and procedures in place at the property.
Should we receive a serious complaint about a guest's behaviour or if they breach our terms and conditions, we reserve the right to terminate their stay without refund.
Lost Property:
While we do our best to ensure your belongings are safe, we cannot take responsibility for any lost, damaged, or stolen items. If you misplace something, don't worry! We'll log it as "lost property" if found, and upon request, we can return it to you at your expense. Please note that unclaimed items will be disposed of after 90 days.
No Smoking and No vaping Policy:
At The Briarcroft, we strictly adhere to a no-smoking policy in our properties as required by law. To maintain a smoke-free environment, a charge of £150 per night will be applied to the provided debit/credit card if smoking and/or vaping is detected in the building. Additionally, for the safety of all guests, the use of candles or any naked flames within the room is strictly prohibited.
Access:
Our team, along with authorised personnel, may need to enter your room for inspections and maintenance tasks as necessary. We strive to ensure your comfort and safety during these visits.
Disability:
Please be aware that the hotel is not staffed during the night; there is no night porter or reception available. If you have a disability or require assistance, you may need to exit the building on your own. The hotel will not be held liable for any injuries or damage that may occur during this time.
Security Cameras:
We've installed security cameras in public areas of the property to ensure everyone's safety. By booking a stay with us, you agree to be recorded by our security cameras. Rest assured, we handle CCTV usage in line with GDPR regulations.
Child Policy:
We kindly ask that guests under the age of 18 be accompanied by an adult during their stay in the room. This ensures a safe and enjoyable experience for all. Thank you for your cooperation.
Third-Party Products and Services:
We may suggest external suppliers offering products or services mentioned on our website or by our staff. Please note that these suppliers operate independently from The Briarcroft. As such, we cannot be held responsible for any issues arising from their services, including personal injury, property damage, or other expenses incurred during your use of their products or services.
Parking:
While our property does not have dedicated parking facilities, there are several reputable car parks nearby for your convenience. Please be aware that parking arrangements are the responsibility of our guests, and therefore, we cannot be held liable for any associated damages or expenses.
Drug Policy:
1. Prohibition of Drug Use
The use, possession, distribution, or solicitation of illegal drugs or controlled substances is strictly prohibited on the premises of The Briarcroft | Wayth Hotels. This policy extends to all areas within the hotel, including guest rooms, common areas, and any associated facilities.
2. Compliance with Laws
All guests are expected to comply with local, state, and national laws regarding controlled substances. Any behavior or activity that violates these laws, including but not limited to the use, possession, or distribution of illegal drugs, will not be tolerated.
3. Consequences of Policy Violation
Violation of this drug policy will result in immediate eviction from the hotel premises without refund. The hotel reserves the right to contact local law enforcement if necessary and take appropriate legal action to address any violations of the law.
4. Responsibility of Guests
Guests are responsible for ensuring that their actions and the actions of any visitors they invite to the hotel comply with this drug policy. The hotel may impose additional penalties or charges for any damage or issues arising from policy violations.
5. Reporting Violations
Guests are encouraged to report any suspicious activity or concerns regarding drug use to hotel management immediately. Reports will be handled confidentially, and appropriate actions will be taken to ensure a safe and lawful environment for all guests.
6. Policy Updates
The hotel reserves the right to update or modify this drug policy at any time. Guests will be informed of any significant changes through notices posted on the hotel's website or directly communicated during their stay.
